FLAME International Workshop on Antiferroelectrics 2020

The workshop is organized by the project FLAME, in which electronic-structure-property relationships will be developed and exploited to realize novel lead-free antiferroelectric compounds.

The workshop will take place on 23 – 25 March 2020 in St. Goar at Schloss Rheinfels. Please note that arrival and departure are scheduled for the days before and after the workshop, respectively.

We will gather experts in processing, characterization and theory to discuss

  • Materials and applications
  • Bulk and thin films
  • Fundamental properties
  • Structural pecularities
  • Electronic structure and defects
  • and related aspects

The workshop fees are 650 Euros, including accomodation for four nights and all meals

Venue

Schloss Rheinfels in St. Goar is embedded within the picturesque upper middle rhine valley. The region belongs to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites and is famous for its castles, vineyards and the famous steep slate rock Loreley.
