Visit from Shanghai

The fourth international Tongji-TUD Workshop on “Functional Materials” took place from 26th to 27th August at the Department of Materials Science. Within the framework of the workshop, students and postgraduates of the partner university Tongji from Shanghai, together with Prof. Dr. Tongqing Yang from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering / SMSE, took part in guided tours through the laboratories of the FLAME projects and attended various lectures. The lectures covered topics from the field of Material Sciences, including antiferroelectrics and the LOEWE project FLAME, in which the Tongji University is also involved.

The workshop was organised by FLAME-member Prof. Dr. Bai-Xiang Xu.
