FLAME Summer School
Trifels, Annweiler am Trifels

The LOEWE project FLAME hosted its second Summer School from 26th to 30th April at the Jugendstilhotel Trifels. A combination of lectures, discussions and teambuilding activities complemented the interdisciplinary program.
The Summer School took place in the guest house of TU Darmstadt, namely at the “Jugenstilhotel” Trifels in Rhineland-Palatinate. The scientific members of the interdisciplinary FLAME projects held various presentations in order to provide an overview of their research results and to exchange information about their upcoming PhD theses and final reports.
The workshop also included joint leisure activities, such as a visit to the Trifels Castle and a hike to the Madenburg Castle.

The renovated “Jugenstilhotel Trifels” in Annweiler-Bindersbach on the outskirts of the Pfälzer Forest is used by TU Darmstadt as well as other universities and research institutions. It is an excellent venue for seminars and scientific meetings.
